Abu Dhabi: Amid the Israel-Hamas war, Union Education and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan left on Wednesday (November 1) for a three-day visit to the United Arab Emirates. On the first day of the visit, the Education Minister visited several schools in Abu Dhabi. He also interacted with the students. He will be in Amirshahi from November 1 to 3. In view of the Israel-Hamas war, when the entire world is almost divided into two poles, Dharmendra Pradhan’s visit to Emirshahi as a representative of the Modi government is considered very significant. According to experts in diplomatic relations, his three-day visit to the UAE will strengthen cooperation between the two countries in education and skill development, as well as send a message to Arab countries that India seeks development of the entire world, not violence.

Dharmendra Pradhan visited a coding school named ’42 Abu Dhabi’ on the first day of his visit. Then, he was also seen interacting with the students and teachers of ‘Abu Dhabi Indian School’ at India House. Later in the day, he is scheduled to meet the UAE Minister of Education, the Foreign Minister, and several other ministers, government officials, and academics. Besides, Dharmendra Pradhan will also meet the Indian community and big industrialists there. Besides, he will also visit the Abu Dhabi campus of the ‘Institute of Engineering-Delhi’ and the ‘Abu Dhabi School of Disruptive Learning’. The Education Minister will also interact with the people of the Oriya community in Amirshahi at the auditorium of the Indian Embassy.

On November 2, will visit the international technology eco-system, ‘Hub71’ in Abu Dhabi and visit the Dubai office of EFS Facility Management Services Group. Dharmendra Pradhan will also meet principals of CBSE board schools in Amirshahi, alumni of IITs and IIMs and heads of several educational institutions in Dubai.

Apparently, Dharmendra Pradhan’s aim in this visit is to increase cooperation between the two countries in the field of education and skill development. According to an official statement from the Ministry of Education, the Minister of Education wants to take a holistic view of the educational and technological landscape in the UAE. Dharmendra Pradhan told news agency ANI from Abu Dhabi that day, “UAE-India relations are in a very good place today. A strong strategic partnership has developed between the two countries, particularly in the areas of education and skill development. We are opening an IIT here. Many other big universities in India have already come here. More universities may come in the near future. India’s National Board of Education, CBSE has more than 100 schools in Amirshahi. We will also open an office of CBSE here soon.”
