Kolkata: Explosive allegations of corruption related to education in the state have come to the fore since the arrest of the former education minister. During the investigation against the accused like Kuntal Ghosh, and Manik Bhattacharya, the addition of BE College also came to the fore. The question arose about approval. In the institution where the future teachers are trained, there is extreme corruption going on in those institutions! Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University raised such a complaint. Most of the B.Ed colleges in the state run under this university.

Allegedly, several B. Ed colleges are running illegally in the state. According to sources, the college is running without infrastructure. There are no teachers anywhere and there are no adequate buildings. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University has given notification in this regard a few days ago. It clearly mentions that in many cases the colleges are getting approved by paying money to unscrupulous circles. It has even been claimed that colleges are running without NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) guidelines.

The university has warned that no one should step into this kind of incitement or corruption cycle. It is said that approval can be given only if there are NCTE guidelines. Anyone who wants to donate money as a well-wisher of the college is warned not to step into that temptation. The question is, is the cycle of corruption still active within the educational institution?

In this context, the left leader Sujan Chakraborty said, “They were going on.” still running Where did this happen, which colleges are illegal, and who is taking money? Where did that share of money go? These should be taken seriously by the Ministry of Education.”

Meanwhile, Trinamool MP Shantanu Sen says, “No such incident happens in Bengal. If any such incident is noticed, it is dealt with in wartime action. Investigated and punished. It is not the BJP that will support such corruption. We do not give concessions to the minister, that has also been proved.”
